The Project

We were commissioned to develop a comic with S1 and S2 Nurture and Social Communication groups at Morgan Academy, in partnership with the University of Dundee and CLD Central Youth Team. We delivered workshops in the school over a couple of months, and the young people developed and designed Sam, writing his story inspired by their own experiences of navigating high school as neurodivergent young people.

We were endlessly inspired by their insight and creativity, and are so proud of what they all achieved. The comic will given to P7s making the transition to secondary school, and will also be used as a resource in Peer Learning by S2s.
